DAVID KOGA
We announce the peaceful passing of David Koga on June 18, 2026, at age 93.
He is survived by daughter Tracy (Kevin), son Ward (Susan) and four grandchildren: Garrett (Arden), Adam, Davis and Catherine. David is predeceased by his wife Kathryn, father Tsunechiro, mother Shige, three brothers and one sister.
David was born in Haney, BC in 1933. His family moved to Manitoba during the Second World War. He was a graduate of the University of Manitoba with a degree in science. Professionally, David had a long and successful career with Bristol Areospace, as senior chemist and later a Director.
He met the love of his life Kathryn and together they had two children, Tracy and Ward. David was most proud of his grandchildren and enjoyed watching them become wonderful adults.
David was an avid curler and enjoyed golf. Above all he loved watching his favourite teams: the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, the Winnipeg Jets, and the Toronto Blue Jays.
In accordance with David’s wishes a private ceremony has been held.
